Much of what you see in modern photography trends are photographers working with “natural light” or “available light.” As such, we are sort of like a light hunter (which sounds cool). We preplan our times for shoots based on weather, time of day, even humidity and we work with what’s available to us. The upside is that you have great variety and spontenaity with each individual shoot. The down side is…that you have great variety and spontaneity with each shoot. Now sometimes great things happen with what may be considered poor light. Other days you have really good light and things seem easy. Then there are days where truly unique things happen and as a photographer you’re tripping over yourself to take advantage of the moment.
Which brings us to Hunter and Jessica. Not only did the light decide to spice up an already great shoot, but Hunter and Jessica had plenty of those moments that give me an incurable case of the smiles. Jessica is crazy beautiful (can’t wait for her bridals!) and you can just tell Hunter is head over heels. They met back in high school and it was a lock from there. Hunter proposed at their friends’ wedding when instead of a bouquet toss the bride turned and gave the flowers directly to Jessica. Then Hunter was on one knee, she said ‘yes!’ and here we are! I hope you enjoy looking at these images as much as we do!
Describe your perfect day together: “Days we don’t have anything really planned. The kind of day where we just relax and watch movies.”
(My kind of day too!)
