Find me a reason to visit our old stomping grounds in Lake Charles, and I’ll be there. Find me some awesome people like this for a photo shoot on a day this beautiful and…well I’ll also be there, but with a camera! I always hope with our sessions to find great variety in locations that are close so we spend as much time shooting in great light. Lake Charles is a little hop across the Sabine River, and it really does have some magical spots. We had not done a shoot here in quite a while, so seeing these familiar places gave an equal dose of nostalgia and fresh inspiration. The oak trees are amazing, and a little further North is Sam Houston Jones State Park. Besides some great hike/bike trails, and great places to hang out with the family, I have always loved the beautiful moss along the water, which is something we don’t always find so easily here in Southeast Texas. Wow did we find some golden light this day, so without rambling on take a look at how amazing Savannah and Ari were for their session! We can’t wait for the wedding!
